Coolsat 5000 Questions PART 2

Yay. The 5000 is back. lol. I was wondering though, why i can't set up the settings in my cs5000 to work the 61.5 dish. In my 6100, it says that the diseq is 1/off/off. On my 5000, i put diseq 1.0 and comitted 1. The quality and the level are red. Everything else is the same in the 6100 and the 5k. How do I make my 5000 into 1/off/off?

Funny. I see new bins. Old coders are gone and Kbox coders stepped up to the plate. Kbox is another receiver in the Coolsat, Homesat, Visionsat family.

 

The first 6 tps are dead, go inot motor setings and choose tp 7, you will get 90/90 s and q

There was too much heat in the kitchen and the backlash was too great - that's the only reason the bins were released today and you know it. They still tried to screw people by forcing an upgrade, then they come out with this trade-in and upgrade scam. When are you gonna get it?

 

tps 5 works and so does 7. But I can't save either. Everytime I save it, it goes back to 1. If it does save though, which scan should i do?

 

Depends on where you live, mine the first 6 are dead. Anyway, Get a lock on tp then perform scan on 61.5 If there is no signal on 1-4 it just wont get and channels

 

I agree 100%. Coolsat had kill themself. I have a CS5K and not going to even worry about downloading the new bin. My new SV4K working great,their support can't be better. Anybody upgrading to another CS is taking too much of a risk, of loosing the investment.These are not the times to take chances...money is getting tighter every day.

Already have one if you remembered. And not through any scam exchange. Only reason it didn't comeout sooner, is because the coders were with holding the updates because they were fighting with owner Eric.

 

OK fine, but it is obvious that coolsat screwed themselves and they lost a lot of business over it. I have 3 coolsat paperweights that will remain paperweights. I have no interest in using these bones (new bins) that they threw at us today because I'm not a dog. Now, get the last word in and forget it because coolsat made dogs out of themselves. Pretty soon, coolsat will go away and if they don't, they'll be the ones begging for bones from very unhappy consumers.

 

I am with you on that. Coolsat will fade away in the time I think.
Gonna be a while and some fantastic support is gonna be needed to start winning the people back, and I don't see that happening.

I'd think I would actually be happy to see them go.

did anyone try to download v174 from tvkeyz.com. cause i downloaded mine and it's not .stb file it's some kind of .exe file so what should i do. or where should i get bin 174

don't use it if it's an exe. You can get the zipped version from F2ATV or from Breck's site if he posts them. An exe is probably a virus and could ruin your receiver, for what it's worth.

I checked it out and it's ok.

The .exe file is an extractor. If you click on it, it will extract the bin to where you tell it to.
