If they are twins then you can only hook up 1 stb using a DiSEqC switch. or 4 using a DP44, or the cheaper was but no expansion is 2-sw21 switches.

    Here you go:

If its only 1 lnb its probably an 18" dish, i would shoot for 91 since there are over 475 channels

Small question about mixing and matching lnb's. I have a DPP quad I am using now. I want to hood up 91 using a legacy twin. what switches and and what ever else I would need.

DPP44 Switch up to 4 outputs to 4 stb's port 1 out must have power inserted switch. Set up a second dish 500 for 91 and 82:

    Check this out:

Power inserted switch? I guess the legacy and DPP will work together.

DPP and DishPro, Legacy will not work on DP switches.

Few More Questions? what do you mean it hooks up to high speed internet, do you hook it up to your computer? Do you hook up the dishes like you would for the cs5k? Is the picture quality good? How often do you have to encryp it (about)? How much does it usually cost?

Hooks up to High Speed Internet via DHCP modem or router or switch. Does not need a computer. Your hardware set-up remain the same. Picture quality is good but NOTHING standard HD is better than Coolsat. You dont encrypt anything, IKS does it all for you and you can update bins/software via webloader on your computer by typing in the stb's web address and utilizing U27 boot software installed inside. Its cool, like your web surfing your stb. I have seen as low as 169 from megasatusa dot com and usual price around 199 now 189.

Ok now that I know that I have twins I can hook them up. I have two sw21 switches but doesn't Chieta make a switch like the sw21 & would they be better? I also need the setup for the CS5000. I have the SV setup and working but not sure about the CS.

Their are better ways to hook up Coolsats, they are the exceptions but since you dont exclusively use Coolsats (no one would blame you) then use the sw21 made for those LNB's Chieta and Ecoda make a true 0/22 KHz tone switch not burst. If yours say DP on back and have a double eye they are twin, if they have 4 outputs then a quad. If they have 1 eye and DP logo they are dp singles, 2 output dp duals. DPP will say DP Plus and they are Voltage hogs, very hard to expand must always keep 2 stbs on at same time to make sure lnb has enough power to scan if using more than 1 stb.

Both of them say DP with a double eye so they must be duals.

Hey guy's I do not want to argue with the big dog's on this site BUT,,, If your lnb gives you 110 and 119 on the same cable into your box with no external switch on each cable you can NOT split it off. If you want it to work get rid of the c/s and get another s/v. The c/s won't support it.

Is the use of images new in this site? Haven't seen it before and it really is a great help from our addict guru's. Maybe that is what's scre**wing the format, though.

I think the CS will work with a sw21 switch. I just need to set it up correctly.

... 175 is the latest bin. So, we have to bins now. Is it possible the support is getting back to normal?

No their twins, double eye encasements are either twin/quad or dish pro plus. DP duals are single eye with 2 output.
