Coolsat 5000 Questions PART 2

How do you do a pm on this forum? I have a SV and CS and have a question that I would like to get answered here and don't need to post as it is not concerning the cs5000. I'm sure Blnk, Jerry, or Breck could answer my question.

 

Click on the head icon of the person you want to pm.Its on the right hand corner of the his/her post.

 

my signal gets scrambled like every 20 minutes or so and goes back on...does this mean we are going to need a new bin soon?

 

i am having trouble figuring this one out i recently added the new bin and all of a sudden i got no signal and the bars are all red i never had that problem before and whats with typing in the code how do you do that i got a coolstat 6000 i do have the dish set right i just dont understand how it got red bars on the signal

 

I,m no expert but I had the same problem. When I hooked my coolsat up after getting the new bin. It turned out to be a bad cable (which was working)replaced it and worked fine. Hope that helps.

 

re: scrambled signal... yeah, I switched back to watching cable because it's kind of annoying to be watching a good show and then blank...

 

my cables seem to be fine earlier it was on for brief minute and know gone i checked my dish and its sturdy everything seems ok but ever since i put the new bin it got red bars all a sudden

 

hello everyone, has anyone figured out how to fix glitch yet? it's getting kinda of tiring. if anyone has any suggestion please let me know. thanks

 

what i did was turned off *auto roll* when the TV is back on. It's still working for the last two hours w/o being scrambled...hope it helps!

 

Happy for you but that hasn't worked for me... too bad so sad...

I just did that,autoroll off and ,BINGOOOO....it is back....weird,but works !!!!!!!!

im not . i tryed turning auto roll off but stil nothing still interupted. anyone try anything else that worked?

 

turning auto-roll on and off is not working for me either. if anyone has a suggestion let me know, thanks

I just turn on my tv and was sramble,just for the heck of it turned autoroll on and after 3-5 minutes is up. How long it will last...who knows.
