Coolsat 5000 Questions PART 2

good day to all you out there! I have a question regarding globecast keys , i am using c5k , if I update my globecast keys could I get International channel like the ones coming from the Philippines ?

 

hi there everyone is it just the cool 5000 acting up i also have a cool 6000 not using the 6 presently using my cw 600 premium instead i found the bins are better with cw to bad coolsat were my first boxes still using my 5ooo though maybe will try the 6000 another day or might sell them i like coolsat even with the screwy bins

 

Let me know if you post it. I'll download and try it. What I found and purchased at a yard sale is a usb/serial cable. Not sure if its a null cable or straight. I don't think a null cable will work with a cs5ooo

i dont know anything about the globecast but ive saw a lot of helpful hints from breck and the site bindepot.you can also search this site at the top of the page.type in globe cast and see if there is a thread for it.

 

i almost forgot tvkeys has some helpful imformation also.hope this all helped.and no we all help one another i really dont know anyone i just surf the threads.were just trying to get the coolsats up and running.sorry if you felt ignored.

 

i am currently not getting anything on my cs5000 (DN). Is anyone's working. And if so what are the latest keys and does the auto roll have to be on or off. Thanks for your help

 

Whats up with bindepot it won't let me in, when i use my ID & password it says that my account is locked &to open it with cracker tracker, when that says that acct. has been activated go back and log on, it starts all over again.

 

I do not believe that you can do that. It seems to me that you need to have a dish pointed at globecast in order to get globecast channels. Just as if you were to update nagravision keys you must have a dish ponited at their dish in order for the keys to show the channles. Otherwise you wil not get their channels, just the dish that you are pointed at.
Maybe someone else could confirm. I get BEV and if I update the BEV keys, I get BEV channels, If I update DN keys, I dont get DN channels. I need to have a dish pointed at their satelites.

and Try autoroll off, then on. if one works you are in business.

 

I have tried to register for 4 times and have many problems, so I gave up and use other sites.

 

I don't know what your talking about. I checked and your account isn't locked.

Always turn of the stb, even disconnect the coax running into the back of the stb. DiSEqC switches rely on POWER from the stb to control them. Then in order to get ALL channels available ensure your signal is tops you can get it. 119 port 1 110 port 2 91 port 3 and 82 port 4. works like a charm. Buy a Chieta 1.5 db loss Heavy duty indoor/outdoor DiSEqC switch and connect all first, then re-hook up coax to stb. Finally plug in stb and power up, change all settings appropriately and viola 1300 channels to fart around with. =)

 

Correct or 110 wont get all channels

As far as i know only nF***** cracked GC and allows you to view their channels, check xxx.f2atv.com (xxx=www)

I went to a couple of locations at Bindepot and it said I wasn't allowed to post new messages or attach files (ref:USB to serial driver) I tried the sections; "utilities" & "Coolsat forums", to no avail.
