Yeah that's just to point to the sats, its the lnb itself that has different bands such as Ku etc... There is Circular, linear thats why on a motor the common lnb is a Invacom Qph-031 it gets 10750 frequency as well as 11250

Thanks Breck and telecomm for your efforts in getting the USB/Serial driver posted to bindepot. I downloaded, installed and it worksssss.
Thanks again. Someone else might need this file.

    Good to hear.

That's the whole point to these sites. To help and assist.
We all want the same thing. To stay up as long as possible.

Question for Breck or Blankstare: I read a couple pages back that 119 should be on the switch as #1 and 110 on #2, 91 on #3 and 82 on #4. If you only have 119 and 110, should they be on 1 & 2? Also, where can you find a list of channels for dn?

you can get a channel list from the dn homepage.
or you can goto lyngsat.c*m and se the channels listed on each sat.

breck or anybody: Which receiver do you think I should get? Currently I have coolsat 5000 but too long of a wait. Would I be better of with viewsat, captive works, pansat? Or is it mostly the same thing. Thanks for the advice

A lot depends on how much you want to spend. The boxes that seem to have the fastest support right now are the viewsat's and sonicviews. If you want to spend a little more and be up all the time ther is the nfusion. You will have to have it connected to the internet, and some people don't feel comfortable with that.

Ther is a lot of reading to do and then the decision is yours. You can go to bindepot and read read up on them there.

    Good luck on your decision.
