    I lost all my PPV chanels 504-530.

    Can someone help. Using Bin 1.70

    I have most chanels working, execpt for PPV's 503-533. Tried to reload, refresh files {factory)and re-aim SAT, but nothing is working to get them back.

    All help is appreciated, thnxs

    Over here in ontario at 10:10 dn seems to be fine but the bev seems to have some trouble!! I take that back it took a minute to a/r. All seems well here.

    SCMemo after the f resets and with the new bin on you should re- scan the sats.

    I tried to NVRAM

    C/P .....questions on coolsat 5000
    Turn power off with front power button. Then hold the up channel button in while powering on. This should prompt you with a blue screen. Go to bottom right corner and you will see Clear NVRAM. use controller and scroll down to it and hit ok...then power off....then back on...do a factory reset once again....reload bin....then factory reset again.... (the 2nd reest will not delete the file you just loaded) then do you r dish setting , recan...and see if that helps. (originally posted by KEGNFOOL).

    I think you have too many steps. do the navram turn the unit off load fact bin, load latest bin right away then check settings and re-scan

    every chanel says no signal tried factory reset aimed sats scan chanels and still nothing.

    if it says no signal, it is not a dn issue, its a hardware issur. mine did that a few weeks ago after a big storm, my co-ax was loose at a connection point

    the lower com port numbers(1-4), seem to work best

    Do a full inspection of your LNB, cables, all connections.
    I am guessing you might have connected the cables back up wrong after updating.

    If it was working before, you did something wrong on the reconnect.

    also, once you plug the box into the pc,sometimes it will tell you to connect the box and turn it on. if it is already connected and turned on, wait for upto 3 mins. mine sometimes takes a while to recognize it.

    in any case it seems like they are setting up to take us down before the fight this weekend. thats going to suck.

    So far so good with the 170. My B3V is still moving along nicely and appears to not have gone out for a second.

    The people that have been down sound like they have made it work again. Good job with the help for the inquiries Afterdawn people.

    Hi Breck, I few days ago you suggested we do a nvram on our coolsat 5000, it doesn't seem to work we've tried everthing you and Blnk suggested but I think we better bury this box. If you or Blnk have any other suggestion we'll give it one last try. Thanks
