Coolsat 5000 Questions PART 2

there are so many brands out there to choose from

 

the onlyboxes i would personally be scared of would be any coolsat box(you already have one, dont need more than one egg in any of these baskets), or a 4 or 5 hundred dollard hd box just because of the expense. most of the new sonic views,pansats, and captiveworks that are fairly new go for 125 to 170 which is a "bunch o' monies" but if we ever are cast out completely then it wouldn't be as bad as a 500 dollar loss.

 

true, but if we upgrade to a newer model of coolsat would that be a better choice or a nf brand?

The way things are up and down with FTA right now, I would try and spend as little money as possile if looking for another receiver. Something like the Viewsat Lite model at around $100. That way if things change badly you didn't blow a bunch of money. I'm not saying we are going down and out, just making a safe statement.

am a newbie too when it comes to choosing the best receiver, we have the cs5 for a year now , but was also thinking of getting a better one and i know i coould rely on this thread to point me to a better one !!

 

of course taking advice on anything from someone(me) whose gamertag on xbox live is "doo key terd" is not necessarily a sound act of judgement on your part.

just ckecked fta and brecks site, neither have an update yet. does my gamertag make me wierd, or the fact that i sell guns and work at the post office, or the fact that i pay for dn service and am still on here looking for a bin? or all three?

just read a post from jailbird in another forum that says there is a new 167 file going around called sasha and its fake so beware.

 

chris is unusal in every since of the word, he would rather kiss his coolsat than his wife lol just have to pick on chris, he feels leftout if you dont lol

good-natured ribbing thats all in good fun is ok by me. at least so far in this forum we don't have any true ugliness or newbies telling us that they just "called and talked" to coolsat and that there are no new bins coming.
