    Anyone help?
I want to upgrade my dish/lnb to have 119 and 110 on one dish and Bev on the other. Both dishes would run to a disq switch.(1-4) I know some lnb have internal switch. I am going to use it on cs 5k and veiwsat ultra. Also, someone gave me a dtv dish with triple lnb. They also have internal switch. Would this work running it through a disq for 110 and 119?

What a stupid statement to make. We are all here to help everyone. There are some questions we just don't have answers for and most of us are on her part time. WE don't live on this forum 24/7. I don't know what problem you may have had but for the most part we help everyone we possibly can.

The LNBs with internal switches (DishPro type) will work in most cases used by themselves and some have had success adding another dish and feeding that into a 1x4 external switch. At times they do cause problems and there is a big discussion back a few pages in this thread on the same exact setup you are talking about. Its back about page 65 or so. If you are going to buy any LNBs, I suggest the standard type lnbs which are easier to setup with an external switch. I think that triple lnb will also work by itself but not sure how it will react through an external switch. Always more problems combining internal switch LNBs with and external switch and another dish. Hope this helps.

    Thanks Jerry
Been reading Blank and Harley in forum to see if I can learn more. Not sure if they ever did get it working right :) I have two dishes that are 18 by 20. I think i just get dp lnbs and run them into disq switch. Looks like the triple lnb from dtv is trash as many said same as you, they seem not to work or very buggy. Thanks for your reply

I went back and checked his posts to see if we missed something and the only actual question I could find was about Globecast and international channels on there. He probably didn't get an answer because not many of us even look at Globecast.

I don't think we ever got it to work and there was mention of buying new lnb's with no internal switches.
