I agree - I have a 6000 and 6100, and went to the nFusion and kept the 6100 for the spare tv.

 

'Discontinued' meaning 'Not For Sale' anymore.
It was just to make people aware of models to avoid buying.
Chance you would be buying a clone of a discontinued model.
More for people safety when buying a new unit.

Still support available. At least I hope.

 

Breck how did you hook up your n fusion cable or remote?

Your first updates are done via cable, but once your updated, then you can update via webupdate. You send the update from your computer through your network to your receiver and the receiver updates itself, and restarts itself to take effect.

I'm going to be one of them,I'm switching to another make. Pansat update all models at the same time,so is viewsat,sonicview and others except Coolsat.I'm not buying a CS,because who knows if 6 month from now have newer models and start leaving the older models behind on the updates,like now with the 4K,5K&6Ks. I like my CS5K,it is user friendly,but it's worthless with no updates.

 

ok i was wondering if someone could tell me a forum that i can go and read about the Viewsat PVR 7000 i am debating on which reciever i want to get either the n-fusion or the viewsat 7000. thank you

If you want to pay for my plane fare, hotel money lost from work and good eatings i can do it for you....LOL If not its not hard as long as you have dual output lnb's. and 2 DiSEqC switches.

In Afterdown toolbar, go to search and write down ViewsatPVR 7000 and click GO,it will take you there if any available.

 

LOL - Someone has to entertain those without TV.

 

I am going to tell everybody something and this is strickly my opinion. I believe Coolsat is the best manufactured stb. If they ever produced an IKS stb with HD, i would get rid of all my stb's and get it in a heartbeat. There was a rumor floating around that the CS5100 was supposed to be that stb, but i havent heard another peep about it. Again this is only my opinon. Also PLEASE give NORW a chance to produce bins, they are the new team put together to replace the team that went to nFusion, it can only get better... EVEN the ATMEGA still receives support if anyone remember's that.
