Best to stay away since anyone offering them and claiming they are new, makes the clone bell go off.
Better off to look for a more up to date model.

You should be good with either SV or a VS. They usually release the bins for all the models at one time unless they run into a problem with one. As for which model, depends what you want. Regular, PVR and/or HD.

You will find the lower model numbers are usually more likely to be cloned. The PVR and HD units haven't been cloned as far as I know, because it is far easier to clone the basic unit.

hey i just bought a viewsat ultra vs2000 - i am upgrading my cs5k - i swapped my old cs5k switch to the the diseq switch that came with the vs....at this point i am just trying to get the menu to show my correct dishs - 61.5, 110 and 119... however when i go to 121 it shows 110.... i cant get the 110 to come up... do i need to play with the TP Freq or the LNB Freq?

I haven't used anything other than Coolsat and Nfusion, but I don't think they are all that much different. It's pretty much the same procedure for most receivers.

Just make your discision leaning more toward who offers the better support. (quicker updates)

Not familiar with Viewsat, but if your aimed at 110, it should show 110.
You said setting it on another sat shows it's pointed at 110. That is because it is pointed at 110. That confirms it.
    Is this a new unit?
Maybe try doing a factory/database reset and try picking 110 again and see if anything changed.
