well I was tired of waiting for the new bin so went and bought a Captiveworks 700s was up and running in ten minutes! good Picture very compareable to my cs5k so when its back up and running can run in 2 different rooms now!!

We need more companies with more competition. If we had more competition and more reasonable prices, FTA would have never thrived like it did.

 

Hey guys I was thinking about the new B*V swap on the cards. It's my understanding that they are gonna use the same encryption as direct tv. If they are, and someone cracked the dir tv then B*V would have wasted a butt load of money!! Being a canadian I can say that we are pretty cheap. I think the rumor about the crack has got to be fake.

 

It will be interesting with the new card swap. Appaerently BEV is doing it now. hAven't seen any changes as of yet. Maybe they haven't implemented anything yet. Heard talk of switching to Nagra 3.

 

See them I got one on the shed!!! I't don't pull in direct tv, I think it's broke. I will call the company in the morning!! LOL

Hey guys one more thought I got a friend with a sub to B*V and I asked him if they contacted him about the card swap and he did not even know what I was talking about, sounds fishy to me!!

Tell him to look at channel 1263. It's all day notification of required card swap.

I guess the swap is happening.

I never thought much of the news that tvkeys reported that DTV was hacked. I must admit it wasn't until Breck posted his loader that I began to eat a little crow. It was too much to believe on April fools day, but I did. Hmm Crow not taste too bad with some BBQ sauce on it...kinda tastes like bald eagle... hehe

 

They did a good job by posting those DTV keys a few days in advance.

i went and bought myself sonicview 4000 for $120. so i'm enjoying it wohooo. you know what coolsat 5k is much better or is it cause i'm used to it. the pictures is better with coolsat.

 

yuo know ,i dont wanna be rude,,but i think we shuold boycot all c/s products cause they suck....................

 

my cs7k has been up and running for days now. i have only owned cs products.im not ready to give up on them yet

 

i live in bay area too. richmond. where r u buying the box for $120? let me know. maybe if we are close, we can help each other out.
