Coolsat 5000 Questions PART 2

It seems to me that coolsat doesn,t care about the ones that help get them started. Everyone else is up and running.If they don,t want to get the bins for these any more then please tell us so we are not waiting for them. Coolsat 5000 owner for 2 years

 

Has anyone tryed using bins from cs7000 for the cs5000? if so was there a problem or anything?

 

I just got a ViewSat Ultra 2000

Am I supposed to do an AutoScan on each Sat separately?

I managed to get 110 and 119 up however the channels are different than the Coolsat 5000….i.e. on my CS5k the DIY channel was 111 and on the VS its like 200 something… is this normal?

Also, when scanning 61.5, I don’t get all channels, such as Middle Eastern channels… ideas?

 

You can scan 110 and 119 together. Make your sort by sid is checked.

 

Sort by SID checked after the scan? also blind or auto?

lets start thinking to buy another brand its not fair that coolsat dont relese the new bin and thethe others brands not more than one day without signal ......... or maybe we need to go fishing instead of watch tv jeje

Everyone should get the Viewsat Ultra - its very fast and cool GUI and sexy remote - if we all did we can change this forum to a VS forum

 

I just read in an other forum that dish is down on SV,VS,Pansat etc. can anyone with those stb conferm. if its true maybe we can try using older bins for coolsat5k

can anyone help me scanning 61.5 on Viewsat?

 

I have nf***** and a ultra. If the ultra was up all the time like the other, I would use it all the time. I like the gui and the favorites, the remote and just about everything about it, except it doesn't have iks.

 

are the ultras bins updated quick? quicker than CS i hope ... Can you help me scan 61.5.. i cant get any arabic channels

 

The last few times, the bins have been out within hours.

Why don't you go to lyngsat.com and look up what the tp freq is. I have a feeling you have something in your settings that are not right.

Tp freq's will have 5 numbers. Start off with 12239 and see what you get.
