As far as I can find, it is a clone as well as the bluejay.

Haven't been any bins since January. Looks like no more support.
Everyone says to toss it and upgrade.

 

You should post a threat at f2atv and see if anyone can convert that to something else, like a sv360 elite?

 

Good evening, I have been taking care of family problems for a few months. Coolsat 5000 is down. Are there new codes yet?

Neither - both have very little or no support anymore.

Yeah that could have been me, why didnt you buy me a beer? Anyway i'd keep them both, i like to test all different stb's no reason other than 1 is up more than the other =)

Can't help you until a new bin comes out. If it does.

 

Are all stb companies similar to coolsat where they let out the bins for the newer boxes first and make the ones with the older box wait?

 

No - I think they work on all models at the same time and which ever they can crack first, they get released first.

With Coolsat, 8000 & 8100 use 1 type of file, 6100, 7000,7100 use a different type of file and the 4,5,6 use another different type.

If they crack the 7100 first, 6100 and 7000 are almost similiar so that group gets released together.
