You can't get Direct TV with FTA.

 

I discovered that I was pointed at 82 instead of 91 i repositioned it and am now working fine

 

I did the same thing first time. I couldn't get anything on 82. Scanned and channels came up, but all the pictures were black. From what I remember, there's nothing anygood on it anyway. mostly international channels. From India, middle east and such. Mostly specialty channels.

 

My CS6000 Premium does not hold on to specific channel settings. I lock/delete some channels but they show up as active in an hour or two. Is there an optional memory card I will need to get that is associated with the CS6000 to "hold my channel settings"?

I'm also having an issue where I need to do a PID scan to get some channels. For instance, I'm watching CNN for awhile and then switch over to another channel. Once I switch over I lose the CNN station and must do a PID scan to get the CNN station back. Can someone explain in detail what the PID scan is and what the heck is going on? Thanks.

 

hey, i got coolsat 6000 with 1.49 bin. but now doesn't work with all channels , like ppv, hbo's etc. all movies channels , and some others are working perfect. i check the keys and are right .
i need help. thanks.

 

hey it's me again and, look i found this cs6100_NORW_V0118_20071012.zip ...and i need to know if will work for a coolsat 6000 if it doesn't emailme at nelsonrene69@hotmail.com

 

Stop double posting. If you look at the file name, it's for 6100, not 6000. You have to wait like everyone else for a new bin release.

OR

Move your dish to pickup BEV for now.

No new bins released yet for Coolsat. Get the old rabbit ears out.

 

Listen...a NEW special Dishnet Idea key 0106 has been introduced in the data stream which affected ESPN and some other channels last nite...then it spread to other DN channels...Bev is fine...so U need to upload a new bin released today or tomorrow which incorporated this new DN provider Idea keys 0106 ....its that simple!

BTW...also make sure U have the current Dishnet (DN) 0101 keys too...but as of now, they haven't changed in the past week..

uploaded the new 151 bin, and did a new scan, but still have the scramble channel screen. Has anyone else tried it yet?

I downloaded the file as a .stb file and when i tried to load it it says "Invalid Firmware file" anyone know why? How do I get a file that is valid??

 

Alright!! It took a few minutes but 151 is up and running. Don't forget to do it right starting from the factory bin.

 

If you downloaded it, it is a .zip file. You have to use Winrar or Winzip to open it and extract the .stb file. Then load it to your receiver.

 

Hey breck, how many time have you had to say the same thing over and over again? They still haven't learned to read and want to be spoon fed.

 

need help can't get anything open...can i at least get the keys for now!!!!!!
