hi i just read that i can copy a movie from dvd as well on a rewritable dvd .
this is very nice cause this means i can practice pretty well on my copy-skills without spending much money.
with games u can use only writeable once,so my question is,if there might be a disadvantage to copy dvds on rewriteable ones.
    thanks

as long as your dvd player can read rewriteable dvds you are fine.

Hi feli, If I'm not sure how a backup copy will look when done, I always use re-writable disc first. I then check the movie. If the compression is good and movie plays good, I then just use disc copy to put it on R type disc. Like you said its good for pratice and doesn't cost you a coaster.
