hi all, my topic title might not make any sence so ill explain it more..
anyway i have a dvd9 disc but the disc is seperated into 2 parts. how can i merge both these parts to make the complete dvd9 disc.. once i have done this i am going to put it onto a dvd5 disc by using the guide posted here with dvd shrink.
or is there another way i can do this. the disc in mention is a music dvd, part1 of the file i have has all the menus etc, were as part 2 has the extra footage.

i hope some 1 can help me once again.

    regards
    mick

Not sure exactly what all is on your music dvds, but all processes aside you are trying to put 12300mb +/- on a 4400mb disk. There is chance the outcome will be less than desirable. IMHO.

hi , thanx for the reply.

    Mother Earth Tour - DVD
This is the full DVD. It's not compressed or anything but its split into 2 discs. dvd1 = 5.72gig and dvd2 6.29gig if that helps.
hopefuly that will help some1 help me out.

note: i did backup dvd1 using dvd shrink, i no it compresses it but the quality was perfect, the problem i had then was once the main menu appeared it went straight into the show, i cant select any of the menus from the dvd.
