I recently had my origional DVD movie "misplaced" by a friend who barrowed it...luckly i have a DVDR backup copy of it.

For further backup purposes...how do you recommend I copy my backup of the Movie?

    thanks!

Your copy has the encyptions removed, so use shrink to encode and then burn it...........nice n' easy.

    Cheers.

nanook07- Yes that should work ! If you have Roxio - Most versions have a program Called Disc Copier which should work as well. Assuming that the Back up copy that you wish to back up or make a copy of is unencrypted & that it will fit onto the blank disc you are recording too ? It will also work with oriinal DVD's Provided Anydvd is working in the background ! I realize that many afterdawners use Nero instead of Roxio but I have Both, Roxio version 6 on the desktop & nero on the laptop . I'm just more familiar with Roxio and that's How I know The Disc Copier program works ! But I suppose Nero has a similar program & could do the same thing? Hope this helps ? nanook07- Trudging across thee Tundra , Mile after Mile ... LOL! later !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

If the copy were burned onto a DVD5 disc, then there is no resaon to run it thru shrink or recode again. It will fit on a DVD5 disc. You can use Imgburn or Nero Express to just copy the dvd.

Just go into MODE and choose READ. It will create a very nice ISO file.

As dialysis1 said read mode to rip to ISO and then use write mode like you have to burn the ISO. Neat and quick!
