Having issues making a backup of MSFS 2004. Searched some of the forum. I read and followed this: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/alcohol120guide.cfm and ran ClonyXXL which told me FS2004 was Safedisc V2. I followed the directions to burn an image, however I continue to get a disc read error. Am I missing something? Is there a better set of directions on getting around this? Using Alc120% but also have Nero. Thanks!
The read errors are supposed to happen. Let Alcohol 120% finnish making an image. These errors are a part of Safedisc v2 copy protection. Read speed < 8X should suffice and always burn 4X or less.
