    Can someone please tell me that there is an application out there that will allow me to copy protected music from these new music cds on the market.

    copy protected audio CDs prevent users from ripping the files by installing small applications when the CD is inserted. Disabling the autoplay feature easily solves this problem. When you insert a CD, you can hold down shift, which will disable it for the disk. To permanently disable autoplay, do the following:

    1. Go to Start->Run->gpedit.msc
    2. Computer Config -> Administrative Template -> System
    3. Double clik Turn off Autoplay
    4. Enable it.

    I've ripped several copy protected CDs such as the new Beastie Boys and Green Day albums, with no problems.

    I was able to rip/copy a couple of cds after turning off the autoplay, however I have several more that still won't cooperate. Any further suggestions/software would be greatly appreciated.
