When trying to back up a DVD I get the message (using DVD shrink) "Copy protection error - The current DVD's region does not correspond to the region setting of the drive". Any help/guidance appreciated!

    This is what is wrong:
"The current DVD's region does not correspond to the region setting of the drive"
Which means exactly what it says, it seems to think that the DVD you are trying to Rip is of a different region, If you can Play the DVD with your DVD Drive then that is NOT the Problem but if you can not play the DVD in your DVD-Drive then that is the Problem and you will have to change the region code on your DVD-Rom drive...If you can Play the DVD in your DVD drive then try useing something else to rip the DVD Like Smartripper or DVD decrypter....cheers

    Thanks.
Played DVD in E Drive - no problems. Then went into DVD Shrink again and it ripped without error. Tempermental machine or what!
