Double protection is definitely different to Dual Layer. Dual layer is two layers for burning, whereas Double protection is a coating to increase the life expectancy of the discs Chris
I know that already Chris My point being that it does have an extra layer. This is attatched in which fashion would you say?
I would assume that this double protection is NOT two protective layers glued together but rather a double thickness or double treated layer. It would be stupid to stick two thin layers on instead of one due to the problems of bonding and also light refraction/reflection.
