You are going to need to use Nero if you want to burn the files...plus you are going to have to make it a bootable cd rom in order for it to play properly.

In Nero, you can create a bootable cd rom, with the files that you got off the original disc. It is an option in Nero Express.

Have you tried that way yet?

Not unless the original is 2 different cd's...do a 1:1 copy. If you do 2, unless the original is 2, it won't get the outcome you want.

Ok, well you will obviously need the seperate files from both discs, and not put them all together. I would say for a successful burn, make sure you put the settings on low, preferrably 2x. That should be all you need, then just burn each disc's files seperately, and you should have it all done!

Thanks....I try to give as MUCH info as possible, and would expect the same thing from anyone else. Nothing worse than to try and figure something out and someone doesn't inform the person helping of a little piece of info that would have been alot more time effective!

LMAO!!! But it was good though...glad I could help. Well, if you want to speak to me, you might as well use the pm function in aD (AfterDawn) if not, then you can always join the irc chat for AfterDawn by clicking here:

I am always in here if you have a question as well as alot of other people too!

Ok, got a couple of questions.

1.What system is the game on?
2.What type of media are you using?
3.If you ARE using a console system, do you have either Swap magic or a MODDED console?

your help is very greatful -venomX05- but when someone ask's "insert the correct cd-rom" it's usually (100%) a pc game.

Nero cannot copy back a pc game protection..you need either Alcohol 120 or blindwrite (and I shutter when I say this) or clonecd.

These programs can copy back a pc based game.

Some may require emulation for none EFM burners, and thats where choosing your program comes into place.

    @geestar20

Thanks, I try to help!!! ;P

But can't you use ClonyXXL and then Alcohol, then Nero, like in the guide on aD.

I haven't burned a game, just made .mds images to use on the computer.

But if it is the protection, that I am reading about, couldn't he get ClonyXXL.

The problem seems easy to fix, but why do I get this feeling that it isn't.

    ;P
