Recently I tried to make a copy of a music cd that I purchased [back up copy], and thought I'd made a perfect copy. However, when I tried to import some of the music to movie maker, I receive an error message that the music is encrypted and cannot be imported. How or what program can I download that will remove the encryption?

It's not illegal if you use only 30 seconds of any song, and that's what I had planned to do. I know the copyright laws, and no more than 30 seconds of any song is allowed. That was my intention. Is there a way?
