I am fairly new to this and it can get very confusing at times. What I am trying to achive is When I convert from DVD to MPEG 2
what program would split Generated MPEG file
on 2 cd's as currently the program iI am using Super DVD Ripper gives you three MPEG 2 files so you have to use 3 cd's. But I know that if a movie you are copying is under 2 hrs it should fit on 2 cd,s. I have heard something about bitrate. I am considering to purchase DVD Copy Plus and need to know if this program would allow me to do this.

If you want to make VCDs or SVCDs you should ask in the appropriate forum...this one is for backing up DVDs tp DVD-r (not CDR).
The best program for SVCD creation (while you're here) is DVD2SVCD used in conjunction with CCE SP or TMPGEnc Pro. This is a "one click" solution that can't be beat.
