I have a dish dvr and a panasonic dvd recorder. I made a dvd on my panasonic unit from a program I had recorded on the dvr. I then tried to burn a copy of the dvd on my pc using dvd shrink and Nero. The dvd made on the panasonic plays perfectly in any dvd, even on the pc. However, when I try to burn it, it freezes. Am I missing something? Is there some sort of software I need to make this work? Does the standalone dvd record in a different format? Help!!!

You should be able to Copy it no problem doing a regular Dids to Disk Copy that should work without any problems....

If it is Freezeing in your DVD Player then it could be From Burning at too high of a speed....

Try Burning the Disk at the Lowest Possible speed the Media Supports and see if you get Better Playback as Burning at Too High of a Speed Causes excessive Burn errors which will Cause the Disk to Freeze on a Standalone DVD Player....

    Cheers
