copying home vcr tapes via

    hi
    i have these video tapes that i can easly copy onto plank video tapes.i recently bought a panasonice dvd recorder player.ive been
    able to copy most of these video tapes to dvd but there r a few
    video tapes the same video tapes i copied to video wont copy to
    dvd with this new panasonic unit.is there anyway i can get these
    video tapes copied to dvd?thanks

    I use an old Optex 'Video Enhancer' between the VCR and the Panasonic.
    This removes 'Macrovision'.
    If the recorder refuses to copy the tape, this is probably why.
    These 'enhancers' are still available

    or ask someone who copied tapes fifteen years ago if they still have their unit.
