    1) You need to uninstall your drivers and have windows reinstall them back on "DMA Mode" due to "off" or "PIO" Mode. Link/guide here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038

    2) Make sure you have the latest firmware

    3) Try them famous YUDENS and VERBs media
