a heatsink is black or aluminum colored piece of metal made up of fins with the fan attached to it

see if cpu fan power connector is attached to the cpu connector & not the system connector on the motherboard. also check that the cpu heatsink is flat & square over cpu, not offset as can happen

everything seems to be ok. I do think it is a heat problem because I have the cpu on and it froze. I check the heat of the fan like you told me to do before and it was 156 degrees fariheit. The power supply blows out hot air instead of warm or cool.

Just a thought do you guys think it could be the power supply?

is the psu fan blowing air out of the case or into the case towards the cpu. is the cpu fan blowing air at the heatsink or away??

the psu fan is blowing air out and the cpu fan is blowing on the heatsink.

My computer froze again I dont know why it is doing this. Everything is working the right way. I do have a nvidia g-force 128 mg video card. I disabled the intergrated graphics and then downloaded the card. Could it be the card. Should I reload the card. Should I take the card out and see what happends I dont know what to do. i think Ill take it to a shop.
