Hi, I have cropped an .avi file using VirtualDub 1.6.1, however for the new .avi file to be cropped to my preferred size i must recompress, this means the file size of the .avi goes through the roof! (7-13GB). I have tried using direct stream copying but the new .avi is not cropped. Does this mean there is no way to use VirtualDub to crop my avi and does anyone know of a better way to crop avi files?? Many Thanks
By the way by cropping i mean taking the screen size down (taking out the black bits)not cutting or splitting the .avi file. I also tried using AviJoin to crop the avi, but it wouldnt let me open the .avi? Guess its not my lucky day, any one know a good prog to crop an .avi and keep the file size down?
