    Hi,

Recently, I upgraded my photoshop cs2 to cs5. For the first few weeks, it was working properly (it reads the raw files perfectly).

However, after I auto-update my computer, my cs5 is now having trouble reading the proper image for RAW. What I mean by this is that I see red patches on the raw images everytime I open them on cs5.

Here's a sample of what it looks like: [IMG]

But the funny thing is that when I save them, the red patches does not show up. It's as if it wasn't there at all. And in addition, my RAW images are fine when I open them on 'bridge' (I don't see any red patches). For some reason, it only appears when I use cs5's 'camera raw' tool.

So experts out there, what is the cause of this? And how can I resolve it?

    Thanks in advance! =)

It just highlights overexposed areas in red. Pretty useful feature, as you can see quickly what parts of the image are totally white without any details left in them. You should try to take your pictures without overexposing them as much as possible.

^Thank you for the link =)

Now I understand. Perhaps lately, I've been taking overexposed photos ~_~

    Again, thanks for clarifying it!
