While trying to back up one of my DVD's DVD Shrink stops and displays the following error:
Failed to read file "F:\", incorrect function. Copy Protection Error - The read failed because the sector is encrypted.
I have tried using DVD Decrypter, but it also stops after several tries of reading the encrypted sector, and does not complete.
I have just tried using AnyDVD (in the back round)while using DVD Shrink and got this new error:
Failed to read file "F:\", Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)
    Thanks for your help

Try downloading the newest version of DVD Decrypter. A million other people had the same problem so you can search for more help.
