d500... ringtones?

    Hey all.. im just about to buy the d500 and im just wondering if you can set MP3s as your message alert tone.

    the D500 will take MP3s and I am sure you can set it to use those songs for ringtones and allerts too!

    I too have a d500 but sadly you can not set your ringtones as the message tone :-(
    You have to use the tones set in the phone

    Yes my wife has the d500 and you can set mp3 as ringtone

    you can set it as a ringtone but not message alert (text message) same goes for the d600
