This may seem like a stupid question, but I just backed up an awesome war documentary onto a Verb +R DL... and I fell asleep while watching it last night, and left it on the title menu screen (the one where it allows me to choose which episode etc)... it was there for about 7 hours or so... its a still screen, no video loops are in the title screen

would this have damaged my copy at all or am i just being totally paranoid? lol

    thanks

Does it play back fine still or are you experiencing problems?

I don't think it'd cause any major problems...

The only problem I can think of is screen burn on the TV set if you had a screen with titles on, and that is a pretty low risk after only 7 hours.

It should not be a problem. My wife goes to bed and sets the timer for the TV but not for the DVD player. I have not had any problems after a movie has finished and gone back to the screen you mentioned and stayed there overnight.
