Sure nuff, I guess it would be up to the moderators to ask him to remove his sig from being an advertisement.
I don't see this thread as a help line for GamePhoenix's customers. I only posted on this thread to warn others about using his services. Even if he had not self-advertised on this site, I would still have wanted to warn others about his modding service. Since most modding services require a bit of faith when sending your console in and pre-paying for service, I think the best way to find out which services are reliable is through word of mouth. Juding from the other complaints in this thread, I am not an odd unsatisfied customer. There is a definite pattern.
bush53 this is the point i make we it causes uneeded conflict how many unstisfied customers.Bringing your business to a forum where you chat to others is like bringing your work home.It will cause conflict and it is not the sort of thing you want on a forum. No none sees it as a help line because to be honest there is nothing we can really do.daPhoenix as a member is getting a little stick here because he has brought his work to the forum. This is something we do not need on the forum.None of us including yourself bring your work problems to this forum. We come here to have fun and help others in our outside work intrests what we enjoy and not to discuss work related problems. If i was a plumber and i charged every member at AD double and did not do the job proper and then came on the forum and said hi guys.I just wonder what the response would be not faviourable i know. This it is why it is best to keep it away from the forum. Thanks John179
i'm so piss daPhoenix has not wrote 2 me telling me anything i sended my ps2 like 2 months ago and still nothing i just don't care i just want my ps2 back so do not order nothing from this guy untill i find out what the hell is going on.i sould of send it 2 the first guy it modded my ps2 but daPhoenix seam legit guess not we will see
I had a chip installed in my xbox by daPhoenix and I got my xbox back in 2 days. I live in Phoenix and I had to take it to a store that pretty much just sold anime and card games. Xbox worked great and I wanted to have a hdd upgrade. When I e-mailed him I got no response so I figured he was busy and just went back to the store last Tuesday. The guy that works at the store told me he moved out of the store and couldn't get a hold of him. He didn't even have a phone number to reach him at.
Hi I purchased an premodded ps2 and a premodded xbox from daphoenix on August 2, 2004 for a total of $480. He told me that my systems would be sent out over the weekend, i recieved nothing. I tried to contact him several times but he didn't respond. He finally contacted me and said that he was having trouble finding an older version ps2 with online bundle, but he said he had an regular ps2 without online adapter. He said he was going to send it out as soon as possible. I waited another week and i recieved nothing. I wrote my complaint to paypal but i only could recover $57. I paid for most of my purchase with my ebay funds so i cant even report it to my credit card. Game phoenix is fraud do not do business.
Sounds like daPhoenix has had a few people over a barrel i do hope you manage to get everything sorted. John179
thanks john197, this guy doesnt answer anyones phone calls, emails or private messages after he has recieved your money. Stay away from daphoenix, gamephoenix, etc. but he probably already has another account setup. Do not do business with any website unless you are able to get proof that they are not BS. Kevin
This guy's name is Lamont Ward and he has other aliases you should know about. He has used L-dubb (which is a screenname he has used on afterdawn in the past) and SuperModz in the past. He also has run other websites that he used to rip people off (e.g. www.internationalgamingworld.com). There is a long list of complaints that he has racked up from people he has stolen from over the past few years so watch out. He used to be in the San Diego area a couple years ago but his last known address was in Tempe, Arizona. his current whereabouts are not known.
