Dashboard Upgrade via Xbox Live

    Ok, I know how to update the dashboard via Xbox Live, however it fails to launch the MS dashboard afterwards! I'm using a back-up copy, not originals to update the dash, is this the issue? Also can I just FTP 5960 across to the Xbox? The reason for this is that I have benn Softmodding for a while now, but the Dual-Retail boot only works with 5960! How can I upgrade most easily?

    Yeah, have downloaded that version of the dashboard, and it makes no difference to my version, still showing 4920! Again I ask, does my Xbox live update HAVE to be from an original disk?

    Just to confirm, I'm checking my version number in MS Dashboard\ Settings\System Info.

    Ok, got it working by using AID 3.10. I had to format the C:\ in order to get it to recognise it! Previous Xbox live question still stands...
