I am trying to transfer VHS (and soon 8mm video camera tapes)to DVD. The hardware I was gifted is an old Dazzle Video Creator 80 BUT no software for the Dazzle. In trying to transfer the VHS, I see the movie playing but it only allows me to capture individual frames. Is there a shareware or MS program with XP that allows me to capture and transfer these movie images? Is there any shareware or free downloadable software that will "unleash" the Dazzle's abilities?
OK I am able to record the video using NERO but there is NO sound. There are no conflicts in Device Manager. When I try to use Win Movie Maker, I get error and it closes. Any ideas?
