    Check if the cable is connected to a splitter or such thing else.

    it is connected to a splitter but it always has been and i never had this before !!

    also the other channels are fine its only these few !!

    If you read Regal at the sticker replace the thing with a real splitter.

    Your splitter device has an sticker with the product name.

    ahhhh so a splitter made by regal is not good ??

    mine doesnt have a brand name though sorry,

    any other thoughts ?

    That service file is for dbox2 to use it on dreambox you will have to convert it.

    anyone on here have a dm 500 t i did a scan a while ago but only getting 72 channels im on chorus mmds

    It should be around 76 TV and radio channels.
    I guess the bbc1 transponder with 4 channels is missing.

    ok the channels im not getting are cnn, channel 6, bbc 1, bbc 2, utv, channel 4, boomerang ,cartoon network, sky sports news, but im picking up 2 channels which i dont have on the chorus box mtv hits and nick junior is there a way to see what frequency a channel is using on the chorus box?

    If you get 236 mhz as default frequency the missing channels should be at 266 mhz and 282 mhz.

    all i can do is signalfind,disable 5v, automatic and manual scan, ill try a manual scan in around those frequncies 266,282

    You should see the default frequency at your chorus box.

    ok the chorus box says signal information is freq(khz) is 314
    and then ntework config says frequency 330

    ok im in the hidden menu of the chorus box which tells you exactly the freq,code rateguard interval, bandwidth of every channel on the box eg bbc 1the frequency on the chor box says its 266 but there is also a provider freq offset of -34.96khz

    The provider offset is coming from the tuner. It doesn't matter.
    There are reports about problems with the frequency 266.000 at clone 500t boxes.
    You could try an older image like the none varmax gemini 3.10.

    GEMINI V3.30 FOR DM500 MAXVAR is the oldest i can find,i was using dreamworld 1.65 should i try an older version of that also?
