What do you get at a manual scan via 266000.
Set all options to autoconfig.

 

o new chanels,o new transponders etc

 

You could try 265000, 265100 till 267000 in such small steps inside the manual scan menue until you get a lock..

hi i was wondering if anybody could help me, my starview box was working fine this morning but has recently gone down with 0 channels, does anybody know if there has been a code or frequency change or whats going on at all.
any help would be very much appreciated

Try it with 282000 for the other missing channels.
I heard only about problems with the frequency 266000 at clone 500t boxes.

 

Anybody else having a problem with RTE2 showing as Off Air?

when doing a manual search should any of these be ticked
use ONIT
use BAT
network search

 

I you want to scan only the typed frequency, no.
I you want to try a full scan via all linked frequencies, switch to a working frequency and tick all three. Select also all channels.

 

no joy with that either i even went a little step futher and went 28205,282150,282200

 

It looks like there is a problem with tuners of clone 500t boxes.
Tuner TU1216L/I H P is fully working and TU1216L/I HEM P give problems.

 

i just got onto zeus i think you know the guy im on about but im waiting for a responce,im not going to open it up to see which one it is untill i hear from him id say its the 2nd one you mentioned though

Its exactly the same reported from the other bloke.
Version 22 year 2005 week 25.
The production code 3112 29714381C is also the same.

 

so how many of these bad tunners are floating round are we talking 100's or 1000's?any suggestions on where to go from here?
