Dbox In Ireland

Really need some help here. I have now flashed my new dbox with 3 differnt images but everytime i do a scan no channels are found. I have set the location and did both a full and quick scan and stil no channel are shown. Has anybody a clue what im doin wrong or how 2 fix it?????

 

Try putting in the freq manually, there is loads of freq on this post. Some freq work for some and not for others .If that dont work you are still on analogue and your wasting your time trying to get it to work. what part of the country are you in??

This is my 2nd dbox that im flashing but with no luck when it comes to getting channels. On the dbox that is working the settings are -

scan for service - all services
bouquet - leave current
provider - bruieforce for uk
fast scarn - off
Network ID - 41042
frequency - 666750
symbol rate - 6952

I have tried changing the settings on the new dbox to the above and again scanin but still no channels appear.
It cant be the feed thats goin in2 the dbox as it works fine in the other dbox.
Does anybody have a clue here cause im starting to think that the box connection could be faulty and thats y its not picking up channels.

I cant seem to land inside the Config folder when FTPing Var and Tuxbox are no problem Just seems to time out every time I try to get into the Config folder First time Ive had this problem
Any ideas???

 

Guys, would the Dbox work in Mullingar on choru$ cable? I think it might be MMDS.

Hi all. I’ve recently set-up a dreambox to pick-up Ch0ru$ MMDS. While it wasn’t too straight forward I received great advice from some of you guys on this forum which made it very worthwhile. So I’m back with a few more questions!

I’m now planning to set up a box for my brother. He has a ch0ru$ coaxial cable which feeds into his house, but it has not been used since the old analogue black boxes were around. As he doesn’t have a subscription from ch0ru$ will they know if he is tapping into their signal (i.e. does he need to subscribe to a basic package to get away with it)? Also, what is the most reliable box for ch0ru$ (cable) in the Cork area?

 

i personlly prefer the dreambox,if the cable is active he should be ok and chorus wont know hes using their line,but if he is mmds he will need a dreambox 500t or 600t

Just got a dreambox 500 c. Read some posts which indicated I would be able to get channels IF I SUBCRIBE to a basic cable package. If this is right please confirm. I have all the book of words and the idiots guide to setting it up ( all on 1 page ). I am in Cork and have the connection comming into the house--just have not got around to signing on for Chorus. Please advise Thanks.

 

ruprect it's a Sagem not too sure what image is on it to.... Could you post where to get the Blade if you have it handy please?

 

Guys, my Sagem dbox2 has started freezing again on me. Somtimes it fixes itself but sometimes it doesnt. Im using Blade image V2. Would you recommend flashing Blade image Final instead? I thought it might have been the weather. Based in Dublin on NT£
