Hi everyone. Is anyone else in Dublin NT£ having problems on blade 2? I have a sagen 1X running on Blade 2 by Xenefan but lately its chirping alot. I thought it might be the weather but now I dont know...Should I flash Blade 2 Final image or a different one? Would that help me?

    Thanks in advance

    Mullingar

    Mullingar,
I used to have Sportster, and changed to Blade Trinity Final on my N0kia about 10 days ago. Was working quite well except for youTV which chirped a lot. Then tried Commando. YouTV better, but all stations chirping/stuttering. Went back to Sportster, but still stuttering.
Noticed the BER would shoot up from time to time. (What does this measure?)
Tried my P@ce box last night, which was stuttering also (though not as bad as my N0kia).
    Must be the weather!
Anyone else having these issues recently?

I think the higher the BER the worse the problem but I could be wrong. I bought one of thise yellow signal boosters on ebay during the summer and it improved things alot for me but just lately I am getting chirping channels ALOT. In fairness its mostly FTA channels like RTE and TV3 but still.

Maybe it is just the weather because its feckin windy out there!!

Lads I flashed BLADE TRINITY 1X for the Sagem cos the Sporster stalls every now and again maybe once an hour but the Blade was rubbish- Everythin chirping/stalling/jumping-

Is the 1X part important cos I think the Sporster is 2X so is there a Blade for NT£ Dublin thats 2X or am I even making sense???

yes it is important, all nokias are 2x but sagem can be 1x or 2x so make sure you put the right image on your dbox

Can anyone help!!. My Nokia Dbox2 went on the blink recently, stopped receiving channels, scanned several time with no luck and no errors showing. I am now trying to Flash my unit but I can not communicate with it. It only goes as far as Loading Kernel. This did happen once before about 9 months ago and I had a simular problem and after several weeks of trying I eventually succeeded in flashing it. I am following the instructions to the letter. I am using dbox2 image flash assistant and loading Sportster 1.7 uk. The only part I am unsure of is in the IP address I am putting the last number one digit less, but do I put it one digit less in IFA, I have tried both but still wont communicate.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
