Oggnogg. I uploaded teh image yesterday and there were only a handfull of channels on it so I copied the cables, bouguet and services files that you have on your page and while all the channels were there some of them said channel not found (like Living TV + 1 and Bravo + 1) was that because i didnt delete the scan.conf file?? Wasnt sure so I did a scan on NT£ Dublin TEST and got about 156 channels in total including Radio etc but now I dont have alot of the + 1 channels at all. Should I just re-do it and delete the scan.config file?

yah just reflash it them sevice & Boq files sort out the +1 channels

 

I did all that yesterday but it didnt work for me. Most of the channels were not found..

Would it have been the scan.conf file?

 

When i used them files i didnt scan after flashing the channel came in on there own maybe go in and update without bootloader option

 

could you PM me the files you used so and I will try that...

This maybe goin of the subject. My dbox is working fine but i just wanted to know if there was anyway of getin internet up an runing? I would be greatful anybody has any ideas?????

 

what way do you want to get internet up and running?cloned modem is it?

 

any which way, i heard that all u need is a cable modem frm ebay and get somthing called a mac add?

 

theres more to it than that, you could try setting up a thread on it,not too sure if its talked about much in here

 

Ok im new to the dbox bought one on ebay due to arrive tomorrow i have ntl and live in dublin. its a Nokia Dbox2 with Flash UK Linux Neutrino and is debuged. What flash and service files do i need to get this working? if anyone has linkes to these files or has any easy to follow guides greatly appreciate it.

ok so my d box arrived took it and hooked it up seems to already have sportster thing on it already i managed to get about 50 channels inc some sports and movies but there all over the place i need your help!!

 

Ogg or anyone else wondering if you can assist here. Not having much luck flashing my dbox2 at the moment, i'm trying to use the image flash assistant with Andromeda image but every time I hit "start" to flash the box I get a message from the ifa program saying "mediasening could not be disabled, please contact your administrator", no idea what this is, perhaps I should be using command centre or cuteFTP instead? If so could you please provide me with a link to command centre, I can't see it anywhere in the previous links. I inherited the dbox2 from a friend with the snapshot image on it and it's picking up about 50 channels at present, but I understand I should be getting closer to 150 or so - I'm based in Dublin also.

Brystone try this just leave the image thats on the box and connect to the box via null cable and network cable if the box ip is 192.168.1.1 you change your ip in network connections to 192.168.1.2 in your TCP procol and just add the service and boq files from dublin in my link that should do it i left a commando 6 image on a box tonight and just changed the files i just said to you on a box and worked perfect if ya dont know what to do when ya FTP into the box to put the files let me know im around for the night

 

Sorry By the way you gottqa make sure you have amin rights on that pc to do that and if using visa you gotta change the settings as i said lemme know how ya get on
