    Hey.
Problem with mates Dbox. Its a Nokia.
When you power it up, it displays "BETARESEARCH - digital broadcasting solutions" on the LCD. And one little box underneath this.
    And thats all.
Tried to reset by standy/up button combo, but get the same response out of it.
    Is it dead?
Would a null modem cable flash work?
    Gar

Before I used to flash via dbox menu (without bootloader etc) which is inaccessible now.
    How do I flash now?
With a null modem cable? And IFA?
    Thanks for the help

yes with a null cable and IFA plus if your putting the servive & bouq on you will need a cross over cable too to connect to the box using CuteFTP or whatever you prefer

dont quote me but the files might be already on that image i gave you so there might not be a need to FTP into the Dbox

    Got the cable.
Connected it to dbox and used hyperterminal, but kept getting this essage over and over again:
debug: DDF: Calibrating delay loop... debug: DDF: 16452.4293853163 BogoMIPS
Same with IFA and null modem cable. Had crossover connected too, correct?
    Any ideas?

Hi guys, Ive been using IFA 3.1 on my laptop and it has been working great but I am after buying a MAC to use at home and I was wondering how I flash images to my dbox using the Mac? Can I change IP address etc as normal and use the IFA 3.1 or is there another program to use with a mac???
