Keys have rolled, but in the 00 Key, 1 digit is wrong.

aparently the starview box using "the box" has updated automatically and is working fine

 

Got the 500 c going agagin by manually changing the keylist.txt file in var/keys. Eurovox and Starview will work with a manual input of keys. Keys are here :::

Hi all , hopefully someone can help, think N8L have cracked it to block DBOX 2 in Dublin. Have 3 different DBOX2 boxs in different houses in Dublin & Wicklow all with same problem, just happened today, only get 4 channels working all othere have black screen, epg shows the listing but no sound or tv. have rescanned them all same thing happens any idea's? they r using different images.

I have two nokia dbox2 one running sportsstar and one commando. If anyone gets solution for these it would be much appreciated. I am sure it will get solved eventuially. Just missing a few channels. Can t get used to not flicking. also weekend sport coming up!!!!

 

There has been a big cable change on N*L lines today the codes are working on it as we speak

 

As per Marks request, does anybody have a step by step guide or a download for this yet.

i went to connect my laptop to the dreambox and use dream up to try and re-flash and older image just to try

guess what !!!

i forget how to use dream up........

so null modem cable to usb port on laptop
then connect to rs port on dreambox
then waht do i put in for ip address?
how do i ping the box again to see if its connected?

i know i know these are the basics

but its been so long i just forgot !!

i know theres a guide somewhere i just cant find it

Have Corisss in Kildare and sagem dbox2 with sportster. ftpd into dbox and downloaded /keys/keys.txt to my pc. Edited file adding codes from quoted post in the same format as those already in file. Just cut and paste them in, delete spaces and add the bits at the front so they look like the lines below.
Upload file overwriting the one on the dbox, pull the plug, Happy days.

I used filezilla (free)for ftp and notepad++ for editing (you can show white space and end of line characters so you now format is not changed)

your mileage may vary

browse to and replace:
/var/keys/keylist.txt

Change:
Softcam: EvoCamd
Nargra Rom 7 enabled (all others disabled)
