Dbox In Ireland

    dbox 2 using blade trinity.have managed to ftp to the box and can see
    the keylist text document but how do i open it to
    input the corerect numbers im using filezilla.

    Can anyone help me with the ftp i doesnt seen to find my dbox but ive gone through all the step by step guides perfectly but fails to find my dbox ip adress?

    did you go to computer settings network connections right click properties on the network icon click on tcp/ip and change the ip address there also turn off firewall

    Box IP and PC IP have to be in the same logical network.
    If you use a crossover cable set the pc ip to 192.168.0.1 and the dbox ip to 192.168.0.2 in the network menu for instance.

    I installed commando 9.25 and installed new keylist.
    All working fine again I'll see how it goes.
    One thing I did notice the image quality from 8.2 to 9.25 is far better.

    ive changed the settings in local area conection eg tcp/ip to 198.168.0.2 and 255.255.255 ok disabled wireless enabled local area connection turned off firewall install filezilla entered my dbox ip eg 192.168.1.10 username root password dbox and tried dbox2 with no joy just says error could not connect to server any ideas please help!!!

    sub 255.255.255.0

    Hi guys
    Would someone be good enough to post a step by step guide ( for dummies )to get the dbox2 working again. I am not great at this but I have done it before (ftp).Talking about changing files and evocams and nagras baffles me. Thanks for the help

    no joy again!! im using sportster 1.02 nokia dbox2 do u have to change any settings on ur box b4 u do this? ive noticed i just have limited connection settings do u have to disable everything in local area bar ic/tcp???

    (for dbox2 in north dublin with n*l)

    no timmerg just plug in the cross over cable and it should connect once
    the settings are correct

    ive pluged it into dbox tried all the passwords but no joy would it have something to with my pc settings maybe?

    I am really stuck trying to get my box going again, when you say you copied the keys, how exactly did you do that and what are the keys? I'm in north dublin and nxl .

    i have a dreambox dm500c

    password is dreambox
    other thing is root

    hope that helps

    i used filezilla and it worked fine

    when you click on quick connect try rebooting your box.
