Dbox In Ireland

Did you ever have any luck with this? I am in the same boat and would like to get the service going... Appreciate finding out where you got to. D

 

Upload the fixed nagrarom7.bin to var/scce, restart evocamd/mgcamd or reboot the box and thats it.

 

can someone tell me how to up date the fix please not sure and key for the lancashire area thanks guys

 

Go nito my folder and add the andromea file and add the chorus service files to it

Thank you for all your help my dbox is working fine just freezes but press up and down and works fine.

I just used the bigmaq toolbar works fine.

I am running commando 9.25 , and am running EVOCAM ,and situated in the Woodford essex area , i have reloaded my box and can now see 2 keylist.txt files , one if which has the following..

N 5C01 00 F1484E645AE1A270 ;ROM10 AU Key Time Sat Apr 12 23:13:57 2008

the other file has the following..

N 5C01 01 F273A90F3609690A ;ROM10 AU Key Time Sat Apr 12 06:01:13 2008
N 5C01 01 F273A90F2609690A ;ROM10 AU Key Time Fri Apr 11 14:05:42 2008


Now by looking at bigmaq keylist for ex-cw the keys look ok , but i am still not getting any of the encrypted channels.

Any advice would be highly appreciated

Hi I posted a query last night http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/651777 I have done a factory reset and got all the channels back but the box keeps updating repeatedly, Has any body got any suggestions as to what might be wrong. This "Box" is my fathers and mine is working fine just the version of the software is later on mine.

Firstly, thanks for the updated files. I can't wait to test them.
Just two questions. On your file share there are two downloads that look relevant. Can I assume that I download the dbox/latest autoupdate for dublin/nagrarom7.rar file?

Secondly do I just over write the old nagrarom7.bin file with this one in the keys folder or the scce folder or both?

Oggnogg, Thanks for hosting the fix.

For anyone wanting to apply it as far as I know the scce directory is linked to the var/keys directory so they are actually the same place.

Just in case of making a mistake its always a good idea to make a copy of your files so that its easy to recover your last known good setup.

I would make a dboxbackup and dboxpatch directory on my pc first.

Extract the nagrarom7.bin file to your dboxpatch directory

ftp into your dbox (described many times recently in previous posts) and download all the files in your /var/keys directory to the dboxbackup directory on your pc

change the directory on your pc to dboxpatch and upload the nagrarom7.bin file

reboot and hopefully everything will work after the next roll

If you experience any problems you have the contents of var/keys on your pc which you can always upload if need be.
