You are autoupdating. If running evocam go to the keys folder and find camd_cfg and change one line to read AU {00} is is probably on 01 or 02.

Firstly many thanks to everyone, I've been following the forum for the last couple of days and found it very informative. However, I've been following the instructions on here and trying to update my codes through my remote and although I've followed all of the steps correctly, when I get to the var/keys file its just a blank page with no codes in there at all.
I'm in North Dublin by the way and someone posted earlier that you had to have your box set to the RTE1 channel but I've tried that and it didn't work. I've also tried it on one of the unused channels and some of the other channels but I always end up with a blank file.
Can anyone help, its doing my head in!

the file is keylist.txt leave the tv on rte1with coax connected for a good 30mins. The keylist.txt should be updated by that time. Otherwise you have to enter the entire string in.

    Hi peeps,
I really really hope someone can help me here, I have a NTL sagem sportsters Pro DBox and it have been off since last week 2 days after I bought the box, I like in the Uk.

I asked the guy to fix it that I bought it from and he wants to charge me for everytime this happens so I thought I would try it out myself.

    I followed these instructions......

To get started follow instructions below:

    1
. Press the blue button and you will be in the features menu, scroll to Tuxbox Commander, press OK.

You should now be looking at the files on the D Box.

    2
. Scroll to VAR and press ok, If you don’t see VAR, scroll to <DIR> & press ok, if you still don’t see VAR scroll to the next <DIR> and press ok, keep doing this until VAR appears on the screen!

    3
. When you find the VAR file and you press OK, scroll to Keys & press OK

    4
. Scroll to Keylist.txt and press 4 on your remote control! It is important that you don’t press OK when you scroll to keylist.txt , you must press 4 in order to edit the code that will appear! If you pressed OK in error , just press the Home button and start again.

    5.
After pressing 4 you should be looking at a screen with /var/keys/keylist.txt at the top, 4 or 5 codes in the middle and numbers 1 to 9 at the bottom.

    6.
Now you need to scroll to the code that you are going to change, e.g old code is as follows:

    N S401 00 587436A3B220CB46 and we need to change it to N S401 00 587436A3B230CB46

We are only changing one digit this time, in future you may have to change more digits.

And I got stuck here as there is no codes like that on the screen??

Can anyone pls help me, I also thought about just tryong to enter the code but I could not figure out how to do that either, I am really hoping one of you can help as I have the kids all holidays and the cartoon channels is what they watch.

I had the same blank screen but it was because I did not pay attention to step 4.(i.e. I had clicked on Keylist.txt which brought up a window with no codes)That's all I can add to your situation as I'm a newbie too....

Simply upload the new nagrarom7.bin to var/keys via ftp, reboot the dbox and auto update is working again. After that you can forget tuxbox commander.
