Dbox In Ireland

good point mate, i wish i knew!! i can connect via dreamup but not any of the FTP programs. I've tried everything.

 

I connect to my dbox thru my router. how are you trying to connect your pc to dbox?

 

yeah i tried to connect it directly. Is that where im gping wrong?? Should i be connecting via he router??I have a wireless connection.

 

I aint too sure about crossover cables to be honest as i never used one. If u have a router then hook it up to your box and that should make things easier. Set up an ip address for your box. My pc is 192.168.1.100 and my box is 192.168.1.105 and i can ping the box and ftp it no probs

 

yeah i tried the cross over cable direct conection and no joy. It's really starnge, it's like my password is incorrect. I assume u should be able to connect directly to the DBOX. I'll give it another go via the router and se where it takes me.

 

Ye if you can stretch a cable from your router to your Dbox it will make the updating a lot easier. At this rate you'll need to update every day.

Crossover cables do work fine though.

Just wanted to thank oggnogg for the updated nagrarom file. My dbox2 is now autoupdating and Ive sorted out me mates too! Also big thanks to everyone else posting in this forum
