Dbox In Ireland

yeah basically if you have a running image thats good on a box you can read the image and it transfers to the TMP folder of the box then you can ftp it to your PC and visa versa ....you can ftp this working image back into another box (TMP folder) and write one partition (flash without bootloader) you might need to install the current keylist and off ya go ....

 

LOL i know all that the reason i was asking because .. Was the new roms and servive&bouq files on it for dublin cause i was gonna add it to my folder for ppl to grab

 

yeah sorry bro didn't know how much you knew ........ yeah that image has the latest roms and cables etc. for dublin i'm in dublin 12 and changed to blade as its the only image that stops my box from freezing because i have a card reader built in , its also a great image to use if you need to navigate menus , so its the latest image im running with all the latest files ,,,,cheers bro

 

Fair play i will add it to my folder for others im using the Adromdea that came out in jan08 theres a couple of images there in the folder with the files add but not the roms just been to lazy to do it with all the updating boxes BTW im in D22

 

Th roms wont affect your image plus IDE issues im not going there as its a pain in the arse also it ont work on all boxes and prove me wrong but i dont think you will get it up and running as the board wont support the drive proper it was never really built for it.I have never heard of anyone sucess fully cracking it

is there a good x1 image for a segam dbox2 that does the ketlist updates,

Commando 9 working a treat - have a friends box that needs flashing- He's on chorus does that matter? ? ? ? Mine is NTHell

 

You will have to replace the servive & bouq files only you will get them in my link

 

Now u lost me my good man - I'm fine with flashing updating codes etc

 

If your on N*L and your mate is on Chor*s you will need to change the Service & Bouq files as both wont work on both boxes

Just a quick question.
I have flashed an image on a nokia dbox in Dublin and it works fine.
My question is this.
I also have the same one in Galway but the image won't work, it can't find any channels.
Is there a difference between using it in Galway and Dublin?

I've the old Sportster image (1.7 from 2005) and after NTL's shenanigans I updated the nagaram7.bin file and I was back in business- happy days! My mate's got a new DBox recently and he's a newer image and copying my keylist and overwriting nagaram 7,10, and 11 didn't work.
My plan now is to back up my image and flash it to his box. Is there an easier option?
Also, when I try to make a backup of my image, nothing is being output to my tmp directory...any idea why not? I'm going to my remote control DBox> Service> Image Update(Backup)> Flash Read> Write|Read one partiton> Flash witout boot loader BUT when I FTP to the Box there's nothing in tmp.
Any help/advice would be much-appreciated.

I have a nokia dbox2 running commando 8 and I can't get ANY channels in Dublin on NTL. My keylist.txt file hasn't been updated since April 25th. I uploaded the new nagrarom7.bin file to the dbox and that seemed to work for a few days but nothing now!! Im using evocamd and ucodes are set to 14, and autoupdate is set to 01. Any ideas?

 

did you set the nagrarom update file permissions to 755? make sure only rom 7 is enabled.

 

Yep did all that! /var/keys/nagrarom7.bin has green blocks beside read write and execute in TuxBox commander but that could be 755,777 etc.

 

Hi all, this was probably already answered somewhere but I couldn't find it.
What's the easiest way to flash a new image with crossover cable to a sagem dbox2. I did this succesfully about 2 years ago but I can't remember how. I have filezilla client too.
