Dbox In Ireland

Still no joy sadly

 

Oggnogg the bouquets and files on my box have a different file extension and name, they are called userbouquet and a series of numbers and they are under var/tuxbox/config/enigma

Any ideas?

Are you in Dublin...? and do you mean them files you see are when you FTP into the box or just using the remote control

 

I am in Lucan, those are the files that I see when I do a FTP in the box. I am using the DreamWorldz image 2.0 with the NagraRom7.bin fix. I can see RTE2 and TV3 and also Euronews even in Russian... But I have no keys on the keyfile.txt and they have not been updated on 3 or 4 days and cannot see the rest of the channels

Sorry oggnogg, my dreamup program tells me that the image is too big. I think that my box is rotten or something...

Ok lets get a few thing right here your in dublin and what box you using...?

 

I am in Lucan yep and I am using a DM 500-C, I think that the brand is Dream Multimedia, that is what it says in the box

 

LOL your nutz maybe it was my mistake not asking you that before what box you had but this is a Dbox forum not a Dreambox but its not much in the differ of flashing but you cant use the files i gave you lemme look for the lastest and best for ya gimme a few min

 

Sorry man, just brand new in this business and made a mistake between DBox and DreamBox, which are quite similar. The flashing, ftp and the stuff I have been reading on the previous posts looks the same and it worked on mine.

I know that this is not a DreamBox forun but I believe that this could be useful.

First of all, thank you very much oggnogg. Great advice and help throughout the process.

1. Flash DreamWorldz image into the box
2. Replace the nagrarom7.bin file with the new one
3. Blue button on your remote
4. Select User Features --> OK
5. ReloadChannels --> OK

Wait two minutes while the box restarts and off you go!!!!

What image did you put on it in the end (Aint we lucky bastards after them fuc*ker from Burma & China have had the shit and us worrying about S*Y Spo*ts

 

Does anyone know a good dbox2 image for ireland n*l. One that doesn't keep freezing.

PS: Is there one that auto sorts the channels?

I am in dublin and i have a eurovox 2008 all grand but thinking of upgrading to a THEBOX / STARVIEW PVR
THEBOX PVR CABLE BOX - HDD TWIN TUNER RECORD ONE CHANNEL & WATCH ANOTHER does any body have one and is it worth getting and also how easy is it to update. Any help would be grate.
