Thanks Saddam. Unfortunately still the same issue.
I get a "damage dvd" effect with Setanta xtra and other few channels.
I am about to give up those. Any last attempt for me?

Do a own channel scan via the irish cables.xml.
Try a other ucode version for instance 001A.
Check the numbers for BER SNR and SIG. Red button blue button.

Check the dvb default frequency in the engineer menue of your pace box.
If you see 258.000 you get NTL mmds and not NTL cable.

I can see the numbers for BER SNR and SIG. But what should I do with them?

Havent tried a signal booster, it may be an option.

Maybe you could post the numbers for a few none working channels.

Either the frequency in the services.xml doesn't match exactly the used frequency or the signal is a little bit too strong.

In my opinion that signal is too weak,I have a adjustable booster on my box and when I lower it down to your sig level it starts freezing.
I am no expert but if you try the SLX booster from argos and if it doesn't work just bring it back for a full refund.

Thanks both guys. Is there any workaround to adjust the signal in the device before trying the booster?

Use the irish cables.xml and do a slow scan via NTL mmds or NTL cable depending what you get and check the numbers again.

    @mgb17

Dont get your point my sig is 31500 approx?
Everything works fine at that level.
But everybodys box acts differently so who knows.
The booster from argos is a no lose situation,if it doesn't work bring it back.

Just trying to help out fellow Dbox user wheres the harm in that.

You have to create your own bouquet or bouquets and add/sort the channels inside in the way you want.
